All three paths connect to the same account, wallet, and tournament infrastructure. Switching between Android app and iOS browser mid-tournament does not reset leaderboard points or game state. Your last session resumes immediately—if you were mid-cascade in a Mahjong Ways tournament on your phone, opening hienzo on tablet continues that exact game state.

To install hienzo on Android, first enable installation from unknown sources: open Settings → Apps & Notifications → Advanced → Install unknown apps, then enable "Chrome" (or your download manager). Download the hienzo APK file from our website (or the link provided during signup). Once downloaded, open the file manager, locate the APK, and tap to install. Grant requested permissions (Camera—for KYC photo uploads; Notifications—for tournament alerts; Location—optional, for jurisdiction verification). The app installs within seconds; you can then log in immediately using your hienzo credentials.

If installation fails with a "Parse error" or "File corrupt" message, the APK download may have been incomplete. Delete the file, re-download via a stable WiFi connection, and retry. Some Android devices block installation if your Google Play Protect security scan flags the APK—this is a false positive from the security service. You can bypass it by tapping "Install anyway" after scanning completes, or temporarily disable Play Protect during installation (though we do not recommend disabling security services long-term).

iOS and Web-App Setup

On iOS, open Safari or Chrome and navigate to hienzo.net. Bookmark the page (tap the Share button, then "Add Bookmark"). For a home-screen shortcut, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, name it "hienzo", and confirm. This creates an app-like icon on your home screen; tapping it opens hienzo fullscreen. No separate app store installation required; you receive feature updates automatically whenever we deploy new versions to our web platform.

Mobile Payment Integration

Payment processing on hienzo mobile works identically to desktop. Funding via e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, and mobile banking all function through our mobile interface. When you initiate a deposit, a payment provider's secure portal opens in-app (or launches the payment app directly—local payment app users, for example, see an online payment deeplink that opens e-wallet's app for authentication). After payment confirms, your wallet updates in seconds. We recommend using hienzo over WiFi when performing account-critical actions (deposits, withdrawals, KYC uploads) to ensure security. Account lockout after repeated failed login attempts lasts subject to verification as a fraud-prevention measure; wait and retry, or reset your password if you have forgotten it.
